How Qamishli turned into a poisoned city

The investigation is working on three tracks: the excessive and increasing use of diesel-powered electricity generators within neighborhoods without taking into account environmental conditions, and the emissions of cars that have exceeded the capacity of streets and roads and are subject to modification of their exhausts to match the poor quality of diesel available in the markets, in addition to the larger problem, which is the spread of crude oil burners in the vicinity of the city and their violation of environmentally safe operating conditions. This investigation was completed within the third cycle of the Republic Scholarships Program for Syrian female journalists.
