Five Syrian government soldiers killed in Israeli shelling
A number of soldiers were killed and another was injured in an Israeli airstrike on a military site on the Syrian-Lebanese border.
The state-run SANA news agency quoted a military source as saying, “At around 1:35 a.m. today, the Israeli enemy launched an airstrike from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting one of our military sites on the Syrian-Lebanese border near Kfar Yabous in the Damascus countryside.”
He added, “The aggression led to the martyrdom of five soldiers and the injury of another.”
