Manbij Military Council forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by Turkish occupation army mercenaries into Umm Jaloud village in the northwestern countryside of Manbij canton. 

Manbij Military Council said that two groups of Turkish occupation army mercenaries attacked Umm Jaloud village, and as a result of the vigilance of Manbij Military Council forces, the mercenaries were spotted, surrounded and engaged on two axes, which led to their failure. 

He explained that the infiltration operation was accompanied by shelling of Al-Jat village in the northeastern countryside with 11 mortar and artillery shells, and a drone targeted a concentration point of Damascus government forces, which led to the injury of two members of the Damascus government.
